BFF Day

One day in 1935, the U.S. Congress decided to devote a day to paying tribute to close friendships. It was then declared by the U.S. Congress for June 8 to be a holiday to honor friendship and close friends. They chose to celebrate it on June 8 because the weather is usually always good at this time of year, which gives best friends to celebrate and do outdoor activities. This holiday wasn’t popular or well known until someone posted a photo on social media with the hashtag “Nationalbestfriendsday” and everybody started doing it on June 8th. An entertainment called BFF Entertainment has been involved in this day when they celebrated in Times Square, New York.

The importance of this day and having a best friend is to have someone to talk to, support you in anything, and always have someone to share your problems with. This day is to show the importance of having a best friend and for many reasons, like having a friend that you can count on to be there for you at any moment and to have someone to love, laugh, support, and cherish in both good and bad times. It is proven that best friends are very helpful to a person's health. Usually, people have best friends who are the same age and age in their life stage to support each other. Many people enjoy and love having a best friend because their best friends are the family they chose and someone who is their other half. It is also a day for best friends to strengthen their friendship.

There are many ways to celebrate National Best Friends Day. Some ways to celebrate this day are by going to a picnic in the park, going to a café, going to the beach, or planning a dinner at your home. Some people just stay at home and hang out with them somewhere where they are both relaxed.

In conclusion, having a best friend is having a breakable bond with someone, having someone to trust, having unconditional support, and knowing that you will have someone on your side no matter what. This day is made for everybody that has a best friend, that could be a dog, mom, siblings, or dad. It can be anybody and that’s what this day is about: to cherish your friendship or your bond with them.
