Ja Morant is a 23 year old professional basketball player. He was an underdog until recently. After college, Morant entered the draft. Morant was selected by the Grizzlies with the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft and was proudly named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2020. Over the years Ja has made many amazing accomplishments like rookie of the year, most improved, etc.
This Memphis star is known for his amazing dunks and amazing ability to glide past multiple defenders. Morant, the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA draft, has become a full-fledged superstar. His five-year, $194 million extension with the Grizzlies kicks in to start next season and would rise to about $230 million if he makes an All-NBA team this season. In 2022, he was named to his first NBA All-Star Game as a starter. At the conclusion of the season, Morant won the NBA Most Improved Player Award, and he was also selected to his first NBA all-star game. Ja Morant went to Murray State University, where he played college basketball and dominated.
Ja Morant was an underdog. He knew the only way he could get better was by training. Ja constantly trained with his dad (Tee Morant). If you were wondering where got his crazy hops from, he jumped over three very large tires repeatedly. Ja worked endless nights and mornings to succeed and prosper. Now he’s a top prospect in the NBA and has exceeded his 230 million dollar contract. Imagine seeing a 6'3" man flying in the air to dunk from over 12 inches away.... well, that’s Ja Morant for you.
Ja Morant was suspended for 8 games, but after he came back he went viral for a famous dunk that reached over 14 million people over the internet. Overall, Ja Morant is a really dope player the dominates almost every game he plays.
