    Summer is here, and there's no better way to celebrate than by soaking up the sun and enjoying outdoor activities. Here are ten fun things to do this summer season!

Who doesn’t like a family trip to the beach? You could have a great time in the hot summer,

where you can soak up on the beach waters. Here in LA, there are so many beaches to go to,

such as Santa Monica Beach, Venice Beach, Marina Beach, and so much more. And if you don’t like the water, it’s also fun to play in the sand! And, beach visits are a great source of vitamin D from the sun.

But don’t worry if you don’t like the beach, because there are many more other ways to have fun in the summer...

Having a picnic could relax you, running away from all the stress you may have built up from the school year. It's a great time to spend with your friends and family, or even alone. There are many parks here in LA, such as Pan Pacific Park, Griffith Park, and there are many small public areas too! A refreshing way to spend the day!

A camping trip is a good way to embrace and connect with nature. Disconnect with social media and spend quality time with your friends and or family. However, be careful and be sure to be prepared. For instance, bring supplies like first aid kits, etc. Some camping sites you can visit are the Angeles National Forest, Los Padres National Forest, Crystal Cove State Park, Malibu

Creek State Park, Big Bear Lake, and more.
