Did you know that students spend 30 hours each week at school? In those 30 hours, they spend the majority of their time with their teachers. In this article, we interviewed students about their
opinions of teachers at JB!
Student 1: She’s funny, nice and she’s cool.
Student 2: She tells a lot of jokes.
Student 1: No, they give average work.
Student 2: Not really, no.
Student 1: How nice she is.
Student 2: She tells jokes a lot.
Student 3: That she is fun and exciting.
Student 1 : Dodgeball.
Student 2: Free time.
Student 3: Basketball.
Student 1: I learned how to do physical activity.
Student 2: That I can’t do a push-up...
Student 1: He’s very kind and his teaching is very good.
Student 2:He’s a very smart teacher, he knows Russian, French and more languages. He’s also very funny, so I like him.
Student 3: He knows so many languages and he's helpful.
Student 1: No.
Student 2: Not really, no.
Student 3: No, it’s good.
Student 1: He is kind.
Student 2: I appreciate that he’s understanding. Also, he speaks a lot of Russian so we can communicate easier.
Student 3: He helps me with my work and he makes jokes, and also asks me how I was on the weekends.
Student 1: Brainpop because we watch videos and it’s fun.
Student 2: Maybe all activities.
Student 3: On Fridays, we do Quizlets which is fun.
Student 1: Grammar.
Student 2: Punctuation.
Student 3: English.
Student 1: What I like about Ms. Abejero is that she teaches a lot of stuff..
Student 2: She’s pretty cool once you get to talk to her.
Student 3: That she’s a good teacher.
Student 1: Yes.
Student 2: Only if you don’t finish it in class, really.
Student 3: Yeah.
Student 1: She makes learning really really fun.
Student 2: She seems like she does care if we get good grades or not.
Student 3: That she cares.
Student 1 : Zearn.
Student 2: Any math.
Student 3: There’s not really activities just learning.
Student 1: Scaled copies.
Student 2: Scale drawings.
Student 3: Scale drawings.
Student 1: She’s a very understanding teacher.
Student 2: She’s nice, caring, and welcoming.
Student 3: She’s very open to questions.
Student 1: She does, but she gives enough time.
Student 2: : She does give more work than my other teacher, but she does give us enough time.
Student 3: Yes. A lot. She gives us enough time though.
Student 1: She lets us be open with her.
Student 2: She’s very welcoming, she lets us have fun while doing our work.
Student 3: On the first day of school, she pronounced my name right.
Student 1 : Pasta Skeleton.
Student 2: Group projects.
Student 3: Taking notes.
Student 1:The skeletal system.
Student 2: I learned about Vapes and E-cigarettes.
Student 3: I learned about nutrients.
Student 1: I like that he’s a good teacher.
Student 2: He’s funny.
Student 1: No, not a lot.
Student 2: No, he doesn’t.
Student 1: He definitely makes me feel comfortable because he’s funny. He likes his students.
Student 2: He’s a funny teacher and he’s really smart.
Student 3: He helps us a lot with our work, and if we have questions, he helps us with those questions.
Student 1 : my favorite activities? ....Science? *heh*.
Student 2: Everything overall is just fun.
Student 3: The Blookets that we have sometimes.
Student 1: That the moon moves east to west.
Student 2: Pretty much the same thing *heh* the moon moves east to west.
Student 3: Gravity and force.
Student 1: She’s really nice.
Student 2: She’s nice.
Student 3: She’s cool.
Student 1: Not really.
Student 2: No.
Student 3: Sometimes.
Student 1: You can talk to her about something and she will try to help you.
Student 2: She’s kind.
Student 3: She's chill and nice.
Student 1 : Watching videos.
Student 2: Independent work because I don’t have to talk to anyone.
Student 3: Partner work.
Student 1: About Alexander Hamilton.
Student 2: History.
Student 3: Patriots.
Student 1: She’s nice and she teaches well.
Student 2: She’s kind.
Student 3: She’s very kind and helps students.
Student 1: Sometimes.
Student 2: Not really.
Student 3: Sometimes.
Student 1: She’s a good teacher.
Student 2: She doesn’t yell at us.
Student 3: She helps me with assignments that I don’t understand.
Student 1 : Blookets.
Student 2: Kahoots and Blookets.
Student 3: Blooket because we can win prizes.
Student 1: C.U.B.S.
Student 2: I learned how to find a credible source.
Student 3: I learned how to use A.C.E and C.U.B.S.
